「Fight the good fight First day of 1200km Marathon Stage」
Leaving Ulaanbaatar, remarkably developing capital city to west as if you go back in time. That make you think about former Genghis Khan who is going on conquest. First, liaison heading west. Going south for SS-1, drive carefully in the beautiful grasslands as there are many junctions. Beware for washed out crack. ETAP-1-2 is designated as Marathon Etap. It is required to proceed to Parc Ferme immediately aftter arriving at bivouac. It is not allowed to get any mechanical service until bivouac of ETAP-2 at Zoumod. It is required to manage in total 1200km race consist of 690km for ETAP-1 and 499km for ETAP-2.REPORT
