We decided to cancel ETAP2 on August 12th for the following reasons.
The vicinity of the SS-1 finish line of ETAP-2 and the start area of SS-2 were flooded and submerged due to severe disaster-level heavy rain just before the competition, and lakes and wetlands were formed everywhere, and the water receded and dried up. However, the weather had not improved sufficiently, and it was determined that it would be impossible to clearly instruct the detour and provide guidance.

Climax on the first half. Run through south Gobi. The highlight stage to say This is Gobi!
Leaving bivouac for SS-1, run and run high speed pists called Gobi Highway toward south Gobi. There are lots of camels at side of pists. Run through deserted mine and reaches to hub town of south Gobi. Fuel up, SS-2 starts from by the airport, then go north to cool off from hot south Gobi. The road becomes sandy. Come back from Gobi to the town, fuel up and back to bivouac.
